Vlasis Mitsoulas

Vlasis Mitsoulas is a Senior Computational Engineer at Neural Concept since December 2023, with prior experience as Project Lead and Computational Engineer at Plastics Innovation Competence Center, focusing on H2020 and HEU projects, ceramic injection molding simulations for medical applications, and molecular dynamics simulations. At Realiscape, Vlasis developed the FireMeister firefighting simulator in a virtual reality environment and the V-Lab hydraulics simulator. Vlasis began a research career as a Graduate Assistant at the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Rheology, University of Patras, engaging in CFD research, 3D blood flow modeling, and Fluid-Structure Interaction formulations. Vlasis holds a Diploma in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics, University of Patras, and a Master of Science in Process Simulation, Optimization, and Control from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the same university.
