Software Engineer | DSP at Neural DSP

Theofilos Petsas has a strong background in software engineering and DSP (Digital Signal Processing). Theofilos currently works as a Software Engineer at Neural DSP, where they specialize in DSP. Prior to that, they had a role as a Software Engineer at iZotope, Inc. from September 2019 to December 2022, also focusing on DSP. From April 2017 to August 2019, they worked at Native Instruments as a Software Engineer specializing in Music Information Retrieval. Before that, they held a position as an R&D Engineer at Accusonus from October 2015 to April 2017. Theofilos began their career as a Research Assistant at UCL, where they worked in the field of Auditory Neuroscience from September 2014 to September 2015.

Theofilos Petsas pursued their education in the field of sound and vibration studies, with a particular focus on applied digital signal processing (DSP). From 2013 to 2014, they attended the University of Southampton, where they completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Sound and Vibration Studies. During this program, their coursework encompassed various aspects of applied DSP. Prior to their master's degree, Theofilos Petsas enrolled at the University of York, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Theofilos pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Music Technology, which provided a foundation in the technical and creative aspects of music production and audio engineering.
