Jorge Jimenez

Jorge Jimenez is a Medical Imaging Engineer at Neuralink since April 2025, with prior experience as a Senior Computational Software Engineer at Q Bio, where responsibilities included developing MRI machine learning and AI algorithms for image reconstruction. Jorge also worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Diagnostic Medical Physics Fellow, focusing on MRI-DCE studies to find radiomic biomarkers linked to therapy response in triple negative breast cancer. Previous positions included roles at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Research Assistant, contributing to advancements in signal acquisition and 3D image reconstruction in MRI, and at Brigham Young University, where Jorge served as both a Physics Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, exploring Compressed Sensing technologies. Jorge holds a PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Brigham Young University.
