Nigel Swab

Nigel Swab is a Mechanical Engineer currently employed at Neuralink since July 2022, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles in engineering and design. At the University of Victoria Formula Racing, Nigel excelled in several positions, including Senior Designer, Chief Engineer, Vehicle Dynamics Lead, and Vehicle Dynamics Engineer, contributing significantly to vehicle design and overseeing student teams. Notable internships include a Test Engineering Co-op at Zaber Technologies, where improvements in testing capabilities were achieved, and a Mechanical Engineering Co-op at ViVitro Labs Inc., focused on fluid flow modifications. Nigel also gained experience with the Department of National Defence as an Industrial Engineering Intern and with PCL Construction as a lead estimator during their education, which culminated in a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria.
