Evelyn Shih, MD, PhD

Dr. Evelyn Shih has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. Currently, they serve as the Medical Director at Neurelis, Inc. since September 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, starting as a Resident Physician from June 2011 to June 2013. Evelyn then became a Fellow Physician from July 2016 to September 2017, and eventually an Attending Physician from September 2017 onwards. Additionally, Dr. Shih worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute from September 2017 to August 2020. Evelyn has also contributed to academia as an Instructor of Neurology and Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine from September 2020 to September 2022.

Evelyn Shih, MD, PhD has an extensive education history. Evelyn pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology, General from New York University, which they completed from 1998 to 2002. In parallel, they joined The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 2003 and successfully obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2011.

During their time at the University of Chicago, Evelyn Shih also pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Neurobiology and Neurosciences, which they completed in 2011 concurrently with their MD.

Moreover, Evelyn Shih has achieved additional certifications. In 2017, they became a Board Certified Neurologist with Special Qualification in Child Neurology, a distinction awarded by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc.
