Juan E. Gutierrez

Juan E. Gutierrez has extensive work experience in the medical field, particularly in the areas of radiology and diagnostic imaging. Juan E. currently serves as the Medical Director at Neurelis, Inc. since July 2022, where they previously held the role of Imaging Consultant from July 2021 to July 2022. Prior to their current position, they worked at CediMed as a Neuroradiologist starting in January 2015. Before that, they held the position of Blinded Reader at RadMD and Imaging Consultant/Speaker at Bayer, both starting in January 2009. From October 2008 to December 2014, Juan worked at UTHSCSA as Vice-Chair Clinical Operations and Associate Professor of Neuroradiology. Juan E. also held various roles at Bayer HealthCare and Schering AG, including Director Medical Development Diagnostic Imaging from October 2006 to October 2008 and Associate Director Clinical Development Diagnostic Imaging from October 2003 to October 2006. Juan E. Gutierrez's education history begins in 1983 when they enrolled at Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud for a degree in Medicine. Juan E. completed their MD program in 1988. Afterward, from 1991 to 1995, they pursued a degree in Radiology at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. During this time, they gained expertise in the field of Radiology. In 1995, Juan attended Jefferson Health to conduct research in Neuroradiology, focusing on their interest in Neuroradiology. This involvement lasted until 1996.
