Emanuela Villiger-Borter

Emanuela Villiger-Borter has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Emanuela began their career at Cytos Biotechnology AG as a Scientist Group Leader in 2007. Emanuela then transitioned to Biogen, where they held various roles in Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Program Management for over a decade. Currently, they serve as the Senior Director of Program Management and Operations at Neurimmune AG since 2022.

Emanuela Villiger-Borter completed their Master's degree in Biotechnologie from ETH Zürich in 2003. Emanuela went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Physiology from the University of Zurich in 2006. In 2011 to 2013, they obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Pharmaceutical Medicine from the University of Basel, Switzerland. In 2019 to 2020, they received a Certificate in Issues in Global Health Policy from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London. In 2021, they obtained a Certification in Essentials of Marketing from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
