Deepak Narain

Deepak Narain has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Deepak is currently the VP of Products at NeuroBlade since January 2023. Prior to this, Deepak was the Director of Product Management at Astronomer from November 2021 to January 2023.

From April 2020 to November 2021, they worked at Cloudera as the Director of Product Management for the Cloud Platform. In this role, they played a pivotal role in successfully growing the business from scratch, launching the platform on Google Cloud, and addressing security challenges on AWS. Deepak also took on the responsibility of being the outbound Product Manager, collaborating with sales teams and working closely with early adopters to enhance and sell the product.

Before Cloudera, from June 2019 to April 2020, Deepak served as the Lead Solutions Architect for the Cloud Platform at Cloudera.

Deepak's professional journey started at Stratus Computer in 1996 as a Software Development Engineer. Deepak went on to work at Ascend Communications as a Senior Software Development Engineer, Lucent as a Senior Product Manager, and Legato Systems, Inc. as a Manager of Software Development.

At EMC, Deepak held the position of Senior Technology Consultant from 2005 to 2007. Deepak joined VMware in January 2008, where they served as the Director of Solutions Architects for the Middle East, Turkey, and North Africa region. Deepak successfully grew the business and built a team of 50 Solutions Architects. Deepak left VMware in September 2018.

Prior to joining VMware, Deepak worked at ztech.co as a Principal Consultant, specializing in advising startups and small/medium enterprises on cloud migration, particularly on AWS. Deepak was with ztech.co from September 2018 to June 2019.

Deepak Narain holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. Deepak also pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, Deepak obtained a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University. In July 2017, they obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services.
