Dr Shama Rahman

Dr. Shama Rahman is an accomplished Innovation Fellow at The University of Edinburgh, focusing on the intersection of AI, neuroscience, and design to enhance wellbeing and creativity. As the founder of NeuroCreate, Dr. Rahman develops AI-augmented collaborations to boost cognitive health and performance. Concurrently serving as a University Lecturer at Central Saint Martins, Dr. Rahman fosters a multidisciplinary approach to Industry 5.0, while also leading Jugular Productions, an award-winning company dedicated to merging science with the arts. Previous roles include Visiting Professor at Shenkar Institute, Senior Lecturer in NeuroDesign at Hasso Plattner Institute, and Product Manager for an AI co-creative fashion platform at AWAYTOMARS. With an extensive academic background, including a PhD in Neuroscience from Imperial College London, Dr. Rahman's work spans various domains, emphasizing innovative solutions through the integration of art, science, and technology.
