Arline Nakanishi

Arline Nakanishi is an accomplished professional in the field of biostatistics, currently serving as the Vice President of Biometrics at Neurocrine Biosciences since April 2018. In this role, Arline leads the Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, and Data Management functions to support clinical trials, regulatory submissions, and publications while providing strategic and technical guidance across various studies. Previously, Arline was the Executive Director of Biostatistics at Amgen from April 1991 to December 2017, overseeing global biostatistical activities for numerous therapeutic areas. Earlier in the career, Arline worked as a Biostatistician at Alpha Therapeutic Corporation, focusing on the design and analysis of clinical trials. Arline holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematical Statistics and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biological Sciences and Mathematics from UC Irvine.
