David W. Boyer

David W. Boyer currently serves as the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Neurocrine Biosciences, a position held since October 2019. Prior to this role, David Boyer was a Principal at BGR Group from February 2011 to September 2019 and served as Senior Director of Federal Affairs at PhRMA from January 2009 to February 2011. David Boyer's experience also includes serving as Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs at The White House (January 2007 - January 2009), Assistant Commissioner for Legislation at the Food and Drug Administration (2006 - 2007), and Director of Federal Government Relations at the Biotechnology Industry Organization (2005 - 2006). Earlier in David Boyer's career, roles included Special Assistant for Oversight at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in 2005 and Special Assistant to the Secretary and Assistant Secretary for Legislation at HHS from March 2001 to January 2004. Additionally, David Boyer was the Political Director for the Richard Burr Committee in 2004. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University, obtained between 1996 and 2000.
