Jack Hume

Jack Hume is an Associate Engineer at Neurocrine Biosciences, where responsibilities include developing and executing purification methods for adeno-associated viruses across multiple drug development programs. Hume successfully led downstream purification for the company’s first 50L production within two months of joining. Previously, at Rejuvenate Bio, Hume advanced the purification platform for gene therapy candidates and improved capsid recovery rates significantly. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate Scientist at MilliporeSigma, where Hume led protein purification efforts and enhanced laboratory procedures. Hume holds a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Neurobiology from Northwestern University.
