John Tucker

John Tucker is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as Executive Director at Neurocrine Biosciences since October 2016. Prior to this role, John worked as a Senior Scientist and Green Chemistry Lead at Amgen from August 2009 to October 2016, and as a Scientific Investigator focused on process chemistry at Metabasis Therapeutics from May 2008 to May 2009. John also held the position of Senior Scientist and Head of Green Chemistry at Bioverdant Inc from May 2006 to April 2008, where the focus was on utilizing enzyme technology for chiral drug manufacture. Earlier in John's career, a significant tenure was spent at Pfizer from 1995 to May 2006 as a Senior Scientist. John Tucker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from UC Irvine.
