Chuck Carignan

Chuck Carignan has an extensive work history in the medical device industry. Chuck began their career in 1998 as Vice President and Medical Director of Conceptus. In 2002, they joined Boston Scientific Corporation as Chief Medical Officer of Endosurgery. Chuck then moved to Novasys Medical in 2005 as Executive Vice President. In 2010, they became President and CEO of NinePoint Medical Inc. Chuck then joined BionX Medical Technologies in 2014 as President and CEO, which was later sold to Ottobock. From 2017 to 2021, they held various roles including Director of Rex Bionics, CEO of SoniVie, Director of Neurofenix, and Chair of SamanTree Medical SA. Currently, they are the Director of Biothea Pharma Inc.

Chuck Carignan attended Cheverus High School prior to 1983. Chuck then went on to Yale University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies in 1987. Following this, they attended Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine in 1991.
