Tom Frinzi has extensive experience in the medical and healthcare industries. Tom has held executive and leadership positions since 2008. In 2008, they began their career at Bausch & Lomb as Global Commercial Operations, where they were responsible for realigning the Surgical Division's $500M worldwide cataract and vitreo-retinal product portfolio and establishing forward momentum for business growth, market share improvement and overall financial health. Tom then moved to WaveTec Vision in 2010 as President and CEO, where they were recruited by the Board of Directors to transform an R&D-centered venture capital-backed company into a commercially viable, customer-centric, revenue-generating business. Tom built the business from nascent $500K in revenue to $15M+ over 4 years. In 2016, they joined Johnson & Johnson Vision as World Wide President, Surgical and Neurolens as an Independent Director. In 2020, they joined IOR Partners, STAAR Surgical, CorneaGen, and Aurion Biotech as an Independent Director and Executive Chairman, respectively. Most recently, they joined Vialase as Executive Chairman in 2022.

Tom Frinzi attended the University of Tampa from 1973 to 1978, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) Special Senior Honors in Social Sciences.
