Michael Gielarowski began their work experience in 2000 as a Critical Care Nurse at UPMC, where they worked until 2003. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Brain Trauma Research Coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on traumatic brain injured patients.
In 2005, Gielarowski joined Alsius Corporation as an Account Executive, responsible for selling and supporting capital equipment and consumable catheters. Michael also served as a Field Clinical Specialist, providing clinical education, customer support, and participation in sales demonstrations. Additionally, they held the role of Field Clinical Engineer, recruiting new research sites for postmarket research surveillance studies mandated by the FDA.
From 2009 to 2013, Gielarowski worked at ZOLL Medical Corporation as an Account Executive. In this role, they were responsible for sales and account management.
Since 2013, Gielarowski has been working as a Business Development Manager at NeurOptics, a privately-held company that manufactures and sells the NeurOptics NPi-100 Pupillometer. The device is used for measuring and quantifying pupillary function.
Michael Gielarowski completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Pittsburgh from 1996 to 2000.
