Nedira Salzman-Frenkel

Mrs. Salzman-Frenkel has been in the biotech industry for 8 years.

In her last role as CEO of her family’s pharmaceutical firm, her company raised $84M in US federal government funding and $30 M in contract research work. She has founded 5 companies in the last 7 years and licensed 2 technologies to a public company on the TSX.

Mrs. Salzman-Frenkel co-founded a wellness brand in the cannabis space and sold it to a mid-size US firm after 18 months. She has served as Head of Business Development for a global pharmaceutical company and has raised over $32M in funding for technologies via venture capital.

She earned her B.Sc. in life sciences from Ben Gurion University. Subsequently she obtained her M.Sc. in biochemistry at the Atlas-Leviski laboratory at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and also holds an MBA from the Recanati School of Business at Tel Aviv University.
