Nicolas Vachicouras

CEO & Co-Founder at Neurosoft Bioelectronics

Nicolas Vachicouras is the CEO and Co-Founder of Neurosoft Bioelectronics. Nicolas has also worked as a visiting student at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary - Harvard Medical School, where they completed their Master Thesis on the development of a new generation Auditory Brainstem Implant. Nicolas has also worked as an R&D Intern at Aleva Neurotherapeutics SA, where they performed design verification, optical and electrical testing of microelectrode arrays for deep brain stimulation, and characterized their electrical behavior by developing and analyzing electrical models. Nicolas Vachicouras has also participated in IVE - Institute for Value-based Enterprise. Nicolas is currently a PhD Student at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne).

Nicolas Vachicouras earned a Master of Science degree in Microengineering (Micro & Nanosystems) with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Nicolas also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microengineering from the same school. Prior to that, they obtained a Bilingual French-English Maturity Diploma from Collège André-Chavannes.
