Dr. Michael Kaiser, MD, FAANS, FACS has 20 years of experience in the field of neurosurgery. From 2001 to 2006, they served as the Neurosurgeon - Director of Spine Surgery at Neurosurgeons of New Jersey. In 2006, they moved to Valley Health System where they served as the Attending Neurosurgeon - Subspecialty Director of Spine Surgery & Associate Director of Neuroscience. In 2021, they joined NYU Grossman School of Medicine as a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery. Additionally, they have been a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons since 2001.
Michael Kaiser, MD, FAANS, FACS, has an extensive education history. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from New York University from 1985 to 1988. Michael then attended Yale University School of Medicine, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 1994. Following this, they completed a Neurosurgical Residency Program at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons from 1995 to 2000. Afterward, they completed a Neurosurgical Spine Fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine from 2000 to 2001. Dr. Kaiser has also been certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery in 2004 and by the New York State Department of Health and the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners in 1994 and 2006, respectively.
