In their previous role as Head of Marketing at NeuroTrainer Inc., Jamie was the 1st employee and founding member of a San Francisco VC-backed neuroscience company. They utilized virtual reality technology to improve focus, resilience, and mental sharpness for students and athletes. Jamie successfully helped thousands of high-performance, pro, and college athletes across 50+ teams enhance their performance. Additionally, they played a crucial role in optimizing focus and attention for youth in their academic careers.
Before that, Jamie held the position of Marketing Director at NeuroTrainer Inc., where they developed the initial go-to-market strategy for an early-stage startup targeting professional sports teams. They achieved significant milestones such as obtaining partnerships with notable organizations including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, and San Francisco Giants, among others. Jamie was responsible for developing outbound motions, creating and managing the company's website, CRM, email campaigns, landing pages, and running experiments.
Jamie's other roles include working as a Cleantech Startup Mentor at Foresight Canada starting in 2022 and serving as an Executive Member at Pavilion from October 2021. They also have experience as a Startup Mentor & Instructor at InnovateABQ from May 2017 to May 2018.
Earlier in their career, Jamie worked as a Senior Strategy Consultant at AllVision Creative Inc. from an unspecified time in 2013 until May 2018. They also served as an Intern at GameChangers Unite from 2011 to 2012 and as the Director of Promotion & Development at the Canadian Mental Health Association from May 2010 to December 2010. Their first marketing role was as the Marketing Director at Okanagan Trend West Master Builder Ltd. from September 2007 to August 2010.
Jamie Moran completed a Bachelor of Management degree with a specialization in Marketing & Entrepreneurship at The University of British Columbia, from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, Jamie attained a certification in Value Proposition Development from MECLABS in February 2013. Recently, Jamie acquired several certifications including CRO School and CMO School from Pavilion in August and June 2022 respectively. Jamie also completed the Go-To-Market Fundamentals certification from Sales Impact Academy in December 2021, and the Cold Email Prospecting Bootcamp certification from the same institution in November 2021.
