Jim joined NVT this past July as CEO and a member of the board. He recently retired from Ernst & Young as a Partner in the Financial Services Organization of Ernst & Young LLP as America’s Banking and Capital Markets (BCM) Leader. In his most recent role, he oversaw the market strategy, clients, talent and overall business growth in this region.
Jim has more than 40 years of experience building professional services businesses and advising Fortune 100 clients, government agencies, entrepreneurial startups, and JVs on successfully managing strategic global initiatives, including regulatory crisis, product development, innovation, and technology.
He has spent the last 20 years serving financial services institutions, primarily in the banking and capital markets sector. He also served as the lead global client services partner for one of the firm’s largest banking and capital markets clients.
Jim has worked on a global scale, including building cross-functional teams to meet client and firm demands and advised boards and senior client executives on matters of strategy, risk, regulation, technology, and business transformation.
Before joining EY, he worked at Robbins-Gioia, Inc., a large-scale strategic program management services firm and served the Government including U.S. Department of Defense, automotive, and telecommunications markets. He holds an MBA from the University of Dayton, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.
Jim currently serves on the board of Covenant House of New York as the vice-chairman.
