Leyla Anderson, MD, PhD, D(ABMLI)

Leyla Anderson, MD, PhD, D(ABMLI) is an experienced professional with a diverse background in biomarker development, clinical immunology, and laboratory management.

From 2019 to present, Dr. Anderson has served as the VP of Biomarker Development at NeuroVision Imaging, Inc. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2019, they held the position of Director of Biomarker Development at the same company.

From 2014 to 2017, Dr. Anderson worked at Q² Solutions, a Quintiles Quest Joint Venture, where they held the roles of Associate Biomarker Director from 2016 to 2017, and Associate Director, Global Flow Cytometry and Biomarkers from 2014 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant Project Scientist at UC Davis from 2004 to 2007, where their research focused on host-pathogen interactions, signal transduction, and tropical diseases. Leyla also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stony Brook University from 2001 to 2003, studying bacteriology and microbial pathogenesis, and at Yale University School of Medicine from 1999 to 2001, researching host-symbiont interactions and tropical diseases.

Following this, Leyla attended Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where they received their PhD in Medical Microbiology and Immunology.

In addition to their degrees, Leyla has obtained several certifications. Leyla has a Certificate in Business Development from the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management. Leyla also holds multiple certificates in laboratory management and clinical laboratory leadership and management from reputable institutions such as the American Association for Clinical Chemistry and Becton Dickinson.
