Leyla Anderson, MD, PhD, D(ABMLI) is an experienced professional with a diverse background in biomarker development, clinical immunology, and laboratory management.

Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant Project Scientist at UC Davis from 2004 to 2007, where their research focused on host-pathogen interactions, signal transduction, and tropical diseases. Leyla also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stony Brook University from 2001 to 2003, studying bacteriology and microbial pathogenesis, and at Yale University School of Medicine from 1999 to 2001, researching host-symbiont interactions and tropical diseases.

Following this, Leyla attended Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where they received their PhD in Medical Microbiology and Immunology.
