Neustark is a leading provider in the rapidly growing field of carbon removal, having developed a solution to permanently store CO2 from the air in recycled mineral waste such as demolished concrete.  

Neustark's first solutions have been deployed in Switzerland and Europe and are already capturing and storing tons of CO2 every week. The company is currently scaling up its operations and carbon removal impact globally – on the road to removing one million tons of CO2 in 2030, and beyond that. 

Founded in 2019, neustark AG is based in Berne, Switzerland, and is a team of around 60 people (as per Q3 2023).

The Neustark ag leadership team has a wealth of experience in various industries and sectors. They have worked as researchers, interns, managers, and consultants for companies such as ABB Turbo Systems, Rieter, Swiss Re, and the UNDP. They have also been involved with sustainability initiatives such as the RE100 Advisory Committee and the Zurich Carbon Market Association. In addition to their professional experience, the team members have also obtained degrees from prestigious universities such as ETH Zurich, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, and Technische Universitat Chemnitz.
