Michael Winter

Michael Winter has extensive experience in research and technology development. Michael currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Neutron Star Systems since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Plasma Technologist at Momentus from April 2021 to February 2023. Michael also held the role of Senior Research Scientist at Tribo Flow Separations, LLC from September 2020 to April 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Research Scientist at the Institute of Research for Technology Development, IR4TD, University of Kentucky from July 2019 to April 2021. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky from August 2012 to July 2019. Michael gained research experience as a Research Scientist at NASA Ames Research Center from January 2009 to August 2012 and as a Senior Research Scientist at Laboratoire EM2C, Ecole Centrale Paris from February 2008 to December 2008. Their career started at Universitaet Stuttgart, IRS, where they worked as a scientific collaborator from 1993 to 2008.

Michael Winter has a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
