Heather Stevenson

Heather Stevenson has extensive experience in education and empowerment, currently serving as a Substitute Teacher for the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools since April 2018. Additionally, Heather is a Damsel In Defense Independent Pro, where the focus is on educating and empowering women about personal safety. Previous positions include Special Education Paraprofessional at Nevada Union High School and Substitute Paraprofessional for the Nevada Joint Union High School District. Prior experience also includes in-home senior care with Partners In Care. Heather holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a major in English and a minor in Reading from Eastern Washington University.
