Nevada County Superintendent of Schools
Hilary Applegate is a Biological Soil Analyst at Soil Terroir, where responsibilities include conducting biological microscopy assessments of soil, compost, teas, and extracts to identify improvements in soil health through regenerative practices. Additionally, Hilary has served as a Substitute Teacher for the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools since August 2015 and previously worked as an Environmental Resource Manager for the US Army Corps of Engineers from 2005 to 2010. Hilary holds degrees in Range Science and Environmental Science/Arts from the University of Nevada, Reno and California State University, Chico, earned between 1996 and 2002.
