John Letos has a diverse work experience in law enforcement and public service. John currently serves as the Chief of the Capitol Division at the Nevada Department of Public Safety. Prior to this position, they held the role of Lieutenant at the Arlington County Police for over two decades. John started their career as a Police Officer at the United States Capitol Police and also served as an Infantry Soldier in the United States Army's 82nd Airborne Division.
John Letos has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Columbia Southern University. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Northern Virginia Community College, where they studied from 1989 to 1991.
