Nevado
Connor Cairns is a Software Engineer with current experience at Nevado since November 2022. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant role at the University of Bristol, where Connor collaborated on a project analyzing video encoding power usage alongside faculty from the University of Bristol and Trinity College Dublin. Connor also served as Head Teaching Assistant for a software engineering project, supporting approximately 150 students across 30 teams with real-world client projects, including work for notable clients such as NHS, IBM, and Lockheed Martin. Additional teaching roles included assisting with Computer Architecture and Software Tools for first-year undergraduate students. Prior to these positions, Connor worked as a Software Engineer for the UK Civil Service and as a Bartender at Beefeater Restaurants. Connor holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Bristol and A-Levels in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science from Frome College.
