Gareth Edwards

Gareth Edwards has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Gareth started their career in the military, serving as a Rifleman/Intelligence Operator in the Royal NZ Infantry Regiment. Gareth then worked as a Deputy Team Leader for the BSE Inquiry before joining d-cypha Limited (Now EMS Limited) in New Zealand as a Data Analyst. In this role, Gareth was responsible for the collection and analysis of consumption data. Gareth later worked as a Data Analyst at Islington Council and as Head of Quality Control at AGB Nielsen Media Research. Gareth then transitioned into the business world, working as an Operations Manager, Business Analyst, and Project Manager at Kantar Media. Gareth also held various roles at Luup, TrustNordics, and MeaWallet, where they focused on compliance, information security, and project management. Gareth is currently serving as the VP of Professional Services EMEA & APAC at Nevion, where they have held several positions, including Director of Professional Services.

Gareth Edwards earned their MA degree in Political Science from the University of Canterbury, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. Gareth also obtained additional certifications, including "Managing Jira Projects: 1 Introduction" from LinkedIn in February 2022 and "DevOps Foundations" from LinkedIn in November 2021.
