Rob Nichols

Rob Nichols is a seasoned leader in the financial services sector, currently serving as President and CEO of the American Bankers Association since August 2015, where strategic planning and development for a $23.7 trillion banking industry are managed. Prior to this role, Nichols held the same title at the Financial Services Forum from June 2005 to August 2015, advocating for banking policies and testifying before Congress. From 2001 to June 2005, Nichols served as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, overseeing public affairs for the agency, and previously held various positions in the federal government from 1991 to 2000. Nichols earned a BA in Political Science from The George Washington University.
