Seth Rappaport

Seth Rappaport currently serves as Vice President & Senior Counsel of Intellectual Property at the American Bankers Association since January 2023. Prior to this role, Rappaport held the position of Associate Director of Legal Affairs, Advertising and Promotion at NOVAVAX INC from October 2021 to January 2023. At Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, from June 2017 to October 2021, Rappaport managed trademark portfolios and conducted trademark enforcement actions. Rappaport's extensive experience also includes serving as Senior Trademark Attorney at the USPTO from May 2006 to May 2017, where responsibilities included supervising trademark examining attorneys and advising on complex trademark issues. Rappaport began the legal career as a Contract Attorney at Milberg Weiss Bershad Schul and gained experience as a Law Clerk at the EEOC. Rappaport earned a JD from Tulane University Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
