Kashif Rashid

Kashif Rashid is the current General Counsel at Nevro. Kashif has held this position since May of 2008. Prior to that, they were Senior Counsel at GE Healthcare from June 2004 to May 2008. In this role, they were primary legal counsel and member of the executive management team of the Services business, a $2 billion and 5,000 employee business unit of GE Healthcare. Kashif also managed the company’s Commercial Practice Group, a cross-GE Healthcare legal team responsible for negotiating, drafting and advising senior management on complex multi-million dollar commercial transactions, including sales, sourcing, IP licensing and joint venture transactions, and advising on various disputes and commercial issues across GE Healthcare.

From March 2017 to December 2017, Rashid served as Vice President Legal at Atara Biotherapeutics. Prior to that, they were Assistant General Counsel at Loews Cineplex Entertainment from January 2003 to December 2004. Kashif began their career as a Corporate and Finance Associate at Kaye Scholer LLP from January 1998 to December 2003.

Kashif Rashid is a graduate of The George Washington University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance. Kashif then went on to Georgetown University Law Center to earn their JD.
