New Aim
Guang Xu is an experienced technical lead currently leading the data platform and engineering team at New Aim since September 2021. Prior to this role, Guang served as a data scientist at REA Group for a brief period, where optimization of automatic property evaluation models and enhancement of data science pipelines occurred. A tenure at National Australia Bank featured contributions to data science tools and the development of a differential privacy application, while prior roles included mentorship in data science at Udacity and consultancy at Servian. Guang obtained a Ph.D. in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Monash University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Wuhan University. Notable technical skills include Azure platform development, infrastructure management with Terraform, and the application of deep learning for environmental analysis.
