Arif Lalani

Arif Lalani currently serves as a Senior Advisor at StrategyCorp Inc. and holds the position of Distinguished Fellow at the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy. Additionally, Arif is a Senior Fellow at New America and a Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI). Previous roles include Director General of International Organisations at Global Affairs Canada, and Head of the Department of Diplomatic Affairs at the Seat of the Ismaili Imamat. Arif has extensive experience with Global Affairs Canada, including roles as Ambassador to the UAE, Afghanistan, and Jordan and Iraq, as well as Director General for South and Southeast Asia. Arif holds a Master's degree in Management, Organisations, and Governance from The London School of Economics and Political Science and completed the Innovation Governance Programme through the Council of Canadian Innovators.
