Jessica Weeden is an accomplished design professional with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Design Lead at New America, Jessica spearheads design efforts for the New Practice Lab, focusing on improving public benefit delivery and enhancing family-impacting social policy through user research. Prior to this, Jessica held significant roles at CVS Health as Senior Manager of Service Design where a user research practice was established for a care coordination platform, and at the United States Digital Service, leading teams at CMS and USCIS to drive service design improvements. Earlier experiences include roles at Philips and internships at Carnegie Mellon University, The Pampered Chef, Green Star Movement, and Situ8. Jessica holds a Master's degree in Communication Planning and Information Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Art and Design from DePaul University.
