Ty Moore is HR manager at New America. She has 11 years of progressive HR experience in nonprofits, and brings extensive knowledge in employee relations, workforce development, and HR operations.
Prior to joining New America, Moore spent the past six years working for an education nonprofit company where she served as the HR manager, managing organizational development, retention, and recruitment. In her tenure there, she was the driving force behind retention, developing mentoring and coaching programs to retain staff. She was instrumental in organizational growth and helped to maintain funding over $1.2 million. Moore has over 15 years working in administration and takes pride in her passion for people. She has a proven record of accomplishments in building progressive relationships across all levels. She brings a wealth of knowledge in nonprofit HR administration, policy management, and HR development.
Moore is currently a student at UMUC pursing her bachelor’s degree in HR & business management. She has two sons and resides in Maryland with her husband and her beloved Siberian husky, Army.
