Maureen Schimmel

Maureen Schimmel serves as the Senior Director of Audience and Product Marketing at New American Funding since December 2023 and also holds a position as a member of the Board of Directors and volunteer for Equity Programs at the Homeownership Council of America since October 2022. Previously, Maureen was the Senior Director of Brand and Industry Partnerships, Multicultural Marketing at Realtor.com from April 2016 to June 2023, where responsibilities included managing brand partnerships and collaborating within the real estate industry to address racial homeownership disparities. Maureen's extensive marketing background includes roles at Loop Commerce as a Marketing Partner, Move, Inc. as Marketing Director, Yahoo!, Inc. in various marketing capacities for over a decade, and experience in advertising as a Senior Account Executive at Saatchi & Saatchi. Maureen began the professional journey after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, focusing on Marketing and Retail Management from Santa Clara University in 1997.
