Lainey Schmidt

Lainey Schmidt has a diverse work experience in finance, operations, fundraising, and administration. Lainey most recently served as the Director of Finance and Operations at New American Leaders, where they oversaw financial management and operations. Prior to that, they worked at Karam Foundation as an Operations Manager and Development Manager, handling finance, HR, fundraising, and grant management. Lainey also has experience as an Associate at Khulisa Management Services and as an intern at the American Red Cross and Afrika Tikkun. Lainey is skilled in accounting, budgeting, donor relations, and event planning.

Lainey Schmidt attended Washington University in St. Louis from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International and Area Studies.
