Holly Huntoon

Holly Huntoon is an experienced media relations professional with a background in public information and journalism. Currently serving as a Media Relations Specialist at the New Bedford Police Department since September 2021, Holly creates engaging video content, manages social media outlets, and oversees community outreach programs. In addition, Holly held the position of Interim Public Information Officer for the City of New Bedford from October 2022 to January 2024, effectively communicating city policies and managing media relations. Previous experience includes being an Assignment Editor at WJAR-TV and internships at WPRI-TV, WLNE ABC6, and WJAR-TV, which provided a solid foundation in news reporting and production. Holly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Roger Williams University and a high school diploma in Journalism from LaSalle Academy.
