Catalina Diaz Mhrm

Catalina Diaz MHRM is an experienced educator and HR consultant with a strong background in both teaching and human resources. Currently serving as a First Grade Teacher and Team Leader at New Caney Independent School District since August 2022, Catalina also holds the role of district Spanish Gifted and Talented Liaison. Previous teaching positions include Second Grade Teacher at Humble ISD and Houston ISD, and a Teacher Assistant in Special Education. Earlier career roles encompass HR positions at Smartbridge, Insperity, and United Airlines, as well as customer service and communications roles. Catalina is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, having previously earned a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and a diploma in Communications and Journalism. Notably, Catalina has been recognized as Teacher of the Year for 2023-2024 and contributed to the 2023 STEM camp as a teacher.
