Daniel Casteel has extensive experience in information systems and technology within the education sector, currently serving as the Director of Information Systems at New Caney ISD since March 2013. Previously, Daniel held various roles including Programmer at Spring Branch ISD from November 2007 to March 2013, Senior Systems Manager at Dickinson ISD for the year 2007, and Network Applications Specialist at Crosby ISD from 2000 to 2007. Earlier in Daniel's career, experience included serving as Personnelman Second Class in both the Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center from 1997 to 2000 and in the US Navy from 1992 to 2000.
