New Caney ISD
Meagan Schurr is an experienced educator currently serving as the Special Education Coordinator for New Caney Independent School District since July 2020. Prior to this role, Schurr worked as a Behavior Specialist at Lubbock ISD and Lubbock-Cooper ISD, contributing to behavior management and support from July 2019 to July 2019 and August 2018 to July 2019, respectively. Schurr also served as an Autism Facilitator at Midland ISD from November 2013 to May 2018 and as a Structured Learning Lab Teacher at Tomball Independent School District from August 2008 to October 2013. Schurr holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Texas Tech University.
