Ruth Ann Anderson

Ruth Ann Anderson has a comprehensive work experience history in the education sector. Ruth Ann began their career in 2001 as a Teacher at Galena Park ISD, where they taught until 2004. Ruth Ann then moved on to NCISD, where they worked as a Dyslexia Coordinator from 2005 to 2014. Following that, they joined New Caney ISD in 2014 as an Assistant Principal, a position they held until receiving a promotion to School Principal in 2023 at New Caney Independent School District.

Ruth Ann Anderson holds a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas, which they pursued from 2020 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Master's of Education in Educational Administration at Lamar University from 2011 to 2012, followed by another Master's of Education in Teacher Leadership from 2009 to 2011. Ruth Ann began their educational journey at Houston Christian University, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education and Spanish, completing their studies from 1997 to 2001.
