Brian Mitchell is an experienced finance and entrepreneurship professional with a strong background in managing and advising early-stage companies. Currently serving as Managing Director at New Columbia Capital LLC since April 2023, Brian specializes in helping founders navigate financial and strategic challenges. Previously, Brian held the position of Senior Investment Manager at Republic from August 2022 to March 2023, facilitating connections between investors and entrepreneurs in private markets. As Director of Deal Flow at Angels & Entrepreneurs from July 2021 to August 2022, Brian focused on identifying and supporting disruptive startups in the crowdfunding space. Brian founded and served as CEO of Bright Greens Smoothie Shakers from January 2015 to September 2021, providing a convenient smoothie alternative to consumers. Brian began a career at Whole Foods Market as a Regional Marketing Manager from May 2008 to December 2014. Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Regis University, earned in May 2008.
