Katha Desai

Katha Desai is an experienced project manager and management consultant currently working at NewCore since June 2022, where Katha leads a digital transformation project for a sustainable plastic manufacturer in Sweden, focusing on strategic data organization and digitalization. Prior experience includes serving as a civil structural consultant at Nynas AB and as a structural engineering consultant at BuroHappold Engineering, where Katha contributed to the design of a luxury hotel and a 276-meter tall residential building in India. Katha also worked as a structural design engineer at Satish Jain Consulting Engineers Pvt Ltd. Educational qualifications include multiple master's degrees in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, Ideation, and Business Model Innovation from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship, along with a Master of Technology in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology and Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, respectively.
