Binita Bhattacharjee

Binita Bhattacharjee has a comprehensive work history in process development and engineering, starting as a Sr. Research Engineer at BP in 2004. Binita then worked at Amyris in various roles, including Process Engineer and Senior Director of Process Development. Binita also served as an Independent Contractor as a Process Development Consultant before becoming the VP of Process Development & Engineering at New Culture in 2022.

Binita Bhattacharjee completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley from 1994 to 1998. Binita then pursued a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering Practice (MSCEP) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating in 2000. Continuing their education at MIT, Binita earned their PhD in Chemical Engineering in 2003.
