Daniel Grenell is an experienced professional in the field of data science and education. Currently serving as the Director of Data and Evaluation at New Destiny Housing Corporation since January 2021, Daniel previously held the role of Data Science Fellow at Achievement Network, where a data tool was developed to analyze 1.5 million rows of school achievement data. In addition to consulting on predictive models for school success, Daniel's previous experience includes a summer fellowship at Education Pioneers and teaching mathematics at both the Urban Assembly School for Green Careers and Believe Southside Charter High School. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Data Science from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, a Master of Arts in Mathematics Teaching from Bard College, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Rochester.

New Destiny’s mission is to end the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness for low-income families and individuals by developing and connecting them to safe, permanent, affordable housing and services. To achieve our mission, we build and manage supportive housing and through innovative programs we assist survivors in finding and retaining housing. New Destiny also advocates for additional housing resources for domestic violence survivor and their families.
