Dr. James Zhou

Dr. James Zhou is the Chief of the Division at the New Development Bank. Prior to their current role, Dr. James held positions at VTB, Commerzbank AG, Hang Seng Bank, DBS Bank, Citi, China UnionPay, ANZ, and 交通银行. Dr. Zhou has extensive experience in legal and compliance roles, specializing in areas such as compliance risk identification, AML/CFT/CPT management, daily legal affairs, compliance advisory, and regulatory liaison. Dr. James holds a Ph.D. in International Law from East China University of Political Science and Law, an LLM from Shanghai Maritime University, and a Bachelor's degree in International Economics.
