Joseph Wnuk, M.S., MHC has over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. In 1995, they began their career as a Mental Health Technician at BryLin Hospital. Joseph then moved on to Team Leader at Child & Family Services of Erie County, Inc. in 1998. In 2009, they returned to New Directions Youth and Family Services as a Care Coordinator where they were responsible for conducting intake and assessments with families in the WRAPAROUND program, facilitating child and family team meetings, and providing 24-hour on-call crisis service. In 2012, they joined Gateway-Longview as a Care Coordinator and Behavioral Health Clinician, where they provided mental health counseling, intensive therapy for youth with serious emotional disturbance, and individual and family therapy. In 2018, they returned to New Directions Youth and Family Services as a Care Management Regional Supervisor.

Joseph Wnuk, M.S., MHC began their educational journey by graduating from Canisius High School in 1993 with a Regents Diploma in General Studies. Joseph then attended Canisius College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2009. In 2010, they returned to Canisius College and earned a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling in 2012. In addition, they also obtained a certificate from the University at Buffalo in Trauma Counseling.
