Juliana Cabrera Peña is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, program coordination, and business partnerships. Currently serving as a Business Partnerships Manager at New Door Ventures since April 2021, Juliana is responsible for managing a team member, providing strategic direction, and supporting professional growth. Previously, Juliana worked at JVS - San Francisco as a Coordinator and Pathway Navigator, focusing on supporting youth with IEPs or 504 plans in their professional journeys, and led various initiatives including curriculum development and grant implementation. Additional roles include Special Education Paraprofessional at San Francisco Unified School District, Link Day and Afterschool Program Leader at YMCA of San Francisco, Immigration Intern at the International Rescue Committee, Teaching Assistant at the University of San Francisco, and Teacher at Academy Prep Centers for Education and AmeriCorps. Juliana holds a Master’s Degree in International/Global Studies from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from the University of South Florida.

However, not all get the chance due to barriers such as poverty, homelessness, history of justice system involvement, and trauma. Our program gives opportunity youth a way to connect to work and education with paid, meaningful jobs, skills training, educational support, and individualized case management.
